Eat Some Meat

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. 

It's not a salvation issue!!! Have you heard that one? Only a billion times, lol. Calling attention to continued sin by believers is not well received. Listen, it's not that obeying the dietary restrictions, Sabbath, Holy Days, or any of the instructions are "salvation issues", but they are, for sure, discipleship issues. Yahusha appears to be concerned about even the least of the instructions in Matthew 5:7 Anyone who breaks even the least of the Law of Moses and teaches people not to do what it says, will be called the least in the holy nation of heaven. He who obeys and teaches others to obey what the Law of Moses says, will be called great in the holy nation of heaven.

After the decision for salvation has taken place... after receiving forgiveness for our past of breaking His law, being rescued from the penalty of eternal death for breaking that law and receiving the promise of eternal life with the law written on our hearts thru the redemptive of Yahusha on the cross...after this, begins the work. Yes, you heard me right, work. Discipleship, learning His ways and how to do them. We gotta do the hard work of self reflection to see what is in ourselves that doesn't line up with His ways. Then the hard work of practicing self-control to eliminate the behaviors, thoughts and deeds that don't align with The Word. We need to recognize that root in our nature that desires our own way. That root looks for ways to circumvent the instructions of The Word. 

 We are not doing this alone. This is where Christiandom screams: Jesus is doing the work. Yep, no argument here. But if we're not willing to be changed, He won't force it. He shows us our sin with The Word, so you can identify it. He strengths us, with reading(hearing) of The Word, to redirect our focus when temptation comes, a lifeline in time of need. We receive the gift of The Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Breath of Yah) to empower us to obey the Word. At this point shouldn't a believer have a desire to Bless Yah and obey His commandments the best he could? Like a child so eager to please the Father?

The Word became flesh and lived among us. He lived out the instructions of The Word perfectly. Don't allow anyone to confuse this for you. He said multiple times, "if you love me, keep my commandments". Yahusha was obedient unto death. In doing this, with full knowledge, He was resurrected and secured a future resurrection for all who choose Him. He gifted us a clean slate, the appropriate response is to not break the law anymore, and seek forgiveness immediately when we accidentally do break it. Again, don't let anyone confuse you. We are accepted as we are, but we are not welcome to stay that way. We've been adopted into a Royal House, we should desire to acclimate to it. 

Church, Churchy people on the internet, Christian nonfiction books, all milk. Has anyone  moved past the "salvation decision"? I don't call it an experience, because it's an ongoing season of one experience after another. Salvation isn't one and done. We work it out like it says in Philippines 2:12. Yah fortifies us to do His good will, but we gotta do our part. Yes, we gotta do some hard work and Christiandom freaks out at the word "works". So silly, do they remember that faith without works is a dead faith? You will do what you believe. Your works reveal what you truly believe, and whom you serve. That's the meat kiddos. Get out of the high chair, stop the spoon feeding from masses who are have a malnourished faith, starving to death for the meat of The Word. They have totally become fat and complacent on milk and no heavy lifting. Pick up a Bible and read it. Then do it to the best of your abilities to do so. With all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might. 

In our discipleship, we soon realize there are levels to The Word, our understanding of it, and the need to be meek and malleable to The Word. Often times folks choke on meat, then look for ways to avoid the meat. That's why milk is the only thing they have to feed new believers. Then place shame on those who continue to ask questions. Infants feeding infants, no one maturing. Oh how vulnerable and weak is an assembly of infants! Praise Yah He is raising up a generation who isn't content with milk. They are bold in demanding the meat of The Word, just like prophecy said. 1 Enoch 92:1-3, 104:12-13, Jubilees 23:26-28, 2 Baruch 44:7...is it a coincidence that all these verses are in books excluded from the canonized scriptures? Who doesn't want this known? 

1 Corinthians 3:2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
