The Peace that Passes Understanding

  Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. As I was recounting my recent leap of faith, to a friend, I saw the concern in her eyes. Quickly, I mentally ran over what I said to elicit such a look from her. Yeah, I could see it, from a human perspective, my leap has landed me in an unsure spot. No employer, no income guaranteed, no job benefits like medical insurance. Yet, I only felt peace.
