Wars and Rumors of Wars
The entire Middle East is currently engulfed in war. All my life, it's been one Middle East war after another. It has always grieved my heart to consider the families who just want to raise their children in peace. Most of the victims of any war are the innocent citizens who happen to live in the war zone. We normally get an accounting of the military personnel who have perished, but not really the citizenry. Did these families choose this? Doubtful, for sure.
Those of us who watch the news for end times prophecy events, ask ourselves each time: is this the one that ushers in the prophecies? Is this the Oholah/ Ohoibah event? Ezekiel 23 From my perspective it doesn't appear the leadership in Israel consider this scenario playing out at all. They fully expect to come out the victor. But what if they're wrong? Will Christians all over the earth loose faith? Most of them don't expect the Oholibah scenario either.
Has Jerusalem been leveled before? Has this prophecy been fulfilled in the past? Well, yeah, twice before. The Babylonians and the Romans, both have destroyed that great city. So you see, prophecy can be cyclical. It's not simply a one and done deal.
As the death toll rises, my heart is so grieved. A school was hit on the first day, as of last account 165 little school girls died. How can a Godly nation find the death of the innocent acceptable? I simply cannot wrap my head around it. I know the blood of the innocent cries out to the Most High for justice. All of the innocent, regardless of the country in which they reside.
We keep our eye on Israel as directed by scripture. Luke 19:43-44, 21:20 Mark 13:14 Jeremiah 9: 10-12 We pray diligently for our brothers and sisters, we pray for peace in Jerusalem and around the world. And we know, Yahusha/Jesus is that peace. Those that study end times prophecy expect there to be wars and chaos before the return of our Messiah, yet war is painful to observe. My husband reminds me of this when I get upset over what's going on. But I also know a heart that grieves over abominations and the killing of the innocent is marked as His own. Ezekiel 9:4
Come Quickly Yahusha, we need you.
Simply a work in progress
Teresa
